There will be a lot of debate as whether its needed or not since if looking into the lifestyle and living standard of the Scottish people, they would be placed in top 5 places of world (economic) to be in so why detaching from a system which gives you all the rights you need and off course the respect and power you deserve to decide for your self.
However being an Indian, I should not be the one questioning the right to demand what they are demanding since my ancestors also fought a bloody war for independence with British regime for 200 years to get India free.
Having said that, I would also add, this present system of Indian freedom didn’t quite go as planned by those who fought for independence from British. Freedom did come but came with some heavy price, problem of its own. No, I am not saying same is what may happen there in Scotland, but debate is when they are living far better than 99% of people of the world along with head held high in respect, do they really need to break away from the present system.
Is it really better for ScotLand or just for few people wanting some unnecessary power ?
What is interesting is to compare the movement what we have read in history and this one, which is now unfolding in front of our eyes. The 21st century way of freedom fighting.
