100mbps high speed Internet !! Now possible in India..

TATA Tele Services...Ultra High Speed Internet via TATA Fiber to homeIts no longer a dream anymore. First, Indian Railways with their Railtel high speed Internet service and now its TATA, who are planing to roll out their fiber to home pilot  project “Power Launcher” by which they are planing to offer speed upto 100mbps at end user.

Although no detailed information is available at this time but TATA has claimed to have 1500km of OFC (Optical fiber cable) around Mumbai city by which they are planing to offer 100mbps connections at Rs. 10,500/- per month.

At a first look, it is expected by many to believe that for an end user, it would be impossible to afford Rs. 10,500/- per month for an ultra high speed service but it is a boost for small and medium enterprise and businesses, for example, running your own hosting firm and data center at your own premises in Indian is no longer a dream as with these services, one can certainly achieve these goals.
