Very High system requirementof the application, as it needs full one GB of RAM to run… Compare that with Open Office which would run fine under 128 MB of RAM and even Office 2003 too… Its pretty odd to see such high requirement and who would run a free apps is expected to be low on budget and so low system configuration too like for example 3rd world education institutes or even Office computers…
Also the support for OS, No MAC, NO Windows Server or Windows 2000 support…
One can see its not fully compatible with MS office documents…
So when we have OpenOffice.org, why would one want to shift to Lotus Symphony ??

How to access Internet from Guest OS ??
1st of all make sure you are connected to the Internet !!!!
Now Go to Windows Firewall Settings or any 3rd party Firewall and Add Microsoft Virtual PC in its Exclusion list for all type of activities…. (In my case its Windows Vista Firewall)
Now in VPC go tyo the Settings of the Guest OS, and then at its Network settings select the networking type as Shared Network (NAT)
Now you should be able to access internet from ur Virtual PC… as it will access the Internet from Host OS as a program !!!
Finally Microsoft  has come up with a plug in to allow WMP content to be streamed or rather viewed from FireFox Web Browser !! (more…)
My CD RW was not working these days, therefore unsinstalled the Nero 7.2 which I was using when I had my CD RW…. Now go my self a DVD RW (took one from the Cafe), and while browsing at MeraWindows.com I saw memebers writing about Nero 7.8.0.1
Well I downloaded that 3 times by wasting my bandwidth, all 3 downloads were done using Different download manager, FlashGet / FF Default / DAP 8.
Good thing is that, Nero has a good efective Clean tool….
