Is there anything after / beyond Windows or Microsoft is just stuck with it ?

Its been two decades as we are using Microsoft Windows. From the QS/2 till Windows 7, all of these have been modification or better builds of previous OS.

It has always been a trend to optimize the already existing code and built upon it. Most of the industry experts agree that frankly speaking, Windows is now to big to be written from scratch so all future version of Windows would be a better version of previous one with some new feature.

Question that comes to our mind is, Windows / Windows and Windows, will ever there going to be any thing new ? Many of us wonder if Windows 8 or Windows 9 can be something totally different as being re-written from scratch or will MS going be stuck with Windows forever ?

Is Microsoft stuck with Windows ? Is there anything beyond Windows ?

Software have upgrade options.. Why not Harware ?

Has any one ever wondered about it ? That we buy PCs, let it be anything, Intel / AMD / ASUS / HP / Dell / Lenovo / Acer, coming with software and OS. We use these software or even we buy few of our own also.

We use these for a year or couple of years and we see there is a new faster and improved version of software coming from the company. All these software companies are kind enough offer something called upgrade. Where we get the new software at a real discounted price since we already had an older version of the same software.

Why not this same rule with hardware also ? Why do we have to pay the full to buy a new and faster hardware ?

I wish this rule or setup to exist in market where Intel or AMD takes back the older processor we have and gives us a new and faster one with discounted rate or rather HP or Dell or Lenovo takes older notebook from us and gives us a new one as upgrade with a discounted rate compare to the actual retail price of the new hardware.

Please do not mix it up with exchange policy where some individual store or shop offers ridicules low price for your once costly hardware.

By following a very easy and simple guide line, you can maintain a fast and smooth Windows / Computer. This basic process applies with almost every version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7).

So how to speed up your slow PC / Windows ?

First of all, please do understand, speed is always a factor which is comparable hence this word is never static ,rather its always variable. Computer hardware is always getting updated and today’s PC hardware would be out perform soon by tomorrow’s PC hardware. Therefor do not compare your PC with one which is having a faster hardware configuration, rather to judge speed you should always compare it with a PC running similar hardware setup.

Still it is a common issue that with time a Windows setup may start to perform slow. 5 easy and basic steps can help you to troubleshoot the issue to make your slow and sluggish Computer / Windows up and running like new.

  1. Free up disc space and re arrange the data (defragmentation)
  2. Shift to NTFS platform and Check for disc errors.
  3. Keep a Malware free setup (AVS / Updates).
  4. Get rid of bloatware and unwanted software.
