Teams would be ranked as per their points and when points are same, then via their Net run rate. The run rate is a big factors for all team since we have seen in previous years, teams losing their spot because of the low run rate.

One more deadly blow comes from RBI (Reserve Bank of India) for the online earners, freelancer, blogger, web content writers or who ever earns money via receiving payment in paypal account.

RBI directions and enforcement have forced Paypal to create few extra rules for Paypal India users which virtually makes paypal unusable.

New Rules

PAN (Personal Account Number) seems now mandatory

No matter what ever amount you receive in Paypal, you have to transfer it in to an Indian bank account within 7 day.

You can’t purchase anything using money stored in paypal. You must link your credit card with Paypal and by which you can make a purchase.

Credit Card or web enabled debit card now seems mandatory

https://www.paypal-apac.com/india/

Below is the email which struck all the users with surprise

Dear xxxxx xxxx,

As part of our commitment to provide a high level of customer service, we would like to give you a 30-day advance notice on changes to our user agreement for India.

With effect from 1 March 2011, you are required to comply with the requirements set out in the notification of the Reserve Bank of India governing the processing and settlement of export-related receipts facilitated by online payment gateways (“RBI Guidelines”).

In order to comply with the RBI Guidelines, our user agreement in India will be amended for the following services as follows:

Any balance in and all future payments into your PayPal account may not be used to buy goods or services and must be transferred to your bank account in India within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services; and

Export-related payments for goods and services into your PayPal account may not exceed US$500 per transaction.

We seek your understanding as we continue to employ our best efforts to comply with the RBI Guidelines in a timely manner.

We regret any inconvenience caused to you and hope the advance notice will enable you to plan your future use of our services accordingly. For further information, click here.

If you have any questions, please contact PayPal customer support by logging into your PayPal account and clicking on ‘contact us’ at the bottom of the page. We sincerely thank you for your patience and continued support.

Sincerely,
The PayPal Team

Big question is about the small payments, like USD 5 / USD 10 what we all receive or make for smaller day to day jobs and advertisement

The only good news is the good business gesture of Paypal India, they have waved off the fee of cheque withdrawal for Indian users. However one has to continue to pay that extra credit card fee for every single transaction made for purchase.

Bad move RBI

Many fail to understand the move since RBI has already made PAN mandatory for Paypal India users meaning giving them power to track users earning and spending.

Then why this move ? Specially force withdrawal and payment via Credit Card only as it will push many freelancer out of business because of the load of transaction fee however the wire transfer still continues to be chargeable.

One can smell the excitement in the city air. Shopping malls are over flowing with shoppers to complete the last minute shopping as the Durga Puja is just around the corner.?

Known puja committees are now doing over time to maintain their pride and reputation of delivering mind blowing art work where as many unknown and new comers are trying their best to dislodge the reputed ones from their chair in a friendly competition.

Like every year, Team Doorer Sathi would travel and work round the clock to capture and upload the photos of Durga Pooja 2010 !!

So lets catch Durga Pooja 2010 via eyes of DoorerSathi.com, a picture album which would get regular updates of the puja and related topics (Durga Idol / Pandals / Decorations) as the event progresses !!,

Incidentally, one may check out previous year pictures / photos at Doorer Sathi.com. Durga Puja 2009, Durga Puja 2008, Durga Puja 2007, Durga Puja 2006.

Update Sep 30, 2010

Brief patches of rain makes things difficult in last minute dash to complete the idols.

Dr. David Warren is no more. The Australian scientist, who changed the aviation industry with his invention of Black Box died this Monday (July 19) at the age of 85.

The idea of Black Box came to his mind in early 50′s when he was asked to help the investigation of an air (Commet) crash and it was mid 50′s when he came up with a prototype Black Box. But it was early 60′s when the world’s aviation industry started to make it a mandate for all commercial air craft to install the device.

What is a Black Box ?

Typically situated in the tail of a plane, unlike its name, a pair of shiny but extremely tough RED BOX is something called Black Box. It has two parts,

The cockpit voice recorder.

Flight Data Recorder.

This devices is so well built that it can survive the worst crashes. They record the in flight data, which helps investigators to pin point the cause of an accident.

Since I started blogging, I praised to the Askimate for its wonderful work to prevent spam in my blog. However last couple of weeks were a nightmare for my blog.

I have been bombarded with spam and the situation is so bad that I have to put my comments system on hold with approve only status.

It seems the pattern of the spams are same, different name and email address but with same website as written as “website”. The volume of it makes me feel that it definitely is a bot where the spammer seems to be able to code in a way to successfully fool Askimate and infact few other spam preventing plug in available for wordpress.
