It seems first time ever, Indian government would officially impose Internet censorship via blocking the newly passed ICANN TLD of .XXX domains.
Its been almost a year since when for the first time internet industry proposed to grant .XXX TLD registration for online porn industry. However, India was among those country which highly opposed towards the proposal and now when ICANN passed the proposal to start the public registration, Indian IT ministry is asked all the national Internet Service Providers to physically restrict user access and DNS propagation towards the .XXX domains.
Decision has mixed reaction inside India since the Indian Constitution doesn’t allow porn business. However the decision holds significant importance since for the first time, Indian ISPs are asked to censor Internet !!
India along with many other countries from the Middle East and Indonesia opposed the grant of the domain in the first place, and we would proceed to block the whole domain, as it goes against the IT Act and Indian laws

As an Internet user, personally I thought this move of allowing .XXX domain registration to be a good move since it would make it easy for parental control software to work if Industry can officially identify and label content viewable and non viewable, however, its frustrating to watch the decisions of LAW makers and worried to see the silent start of censorship in Indian ISP.

When in IE9, just hit F12 key from your keyboard to change the way a website is rendered in the viewing pane to see how it looks or works in IE7 or IE8.
Its a simple and quick way to switch the browsers (Internet explorer) versions, helpful for website developers to test their application compatibility and CSS rendering.
Microsoft has finally made the RTM (Ready to Manufacture) or rather the final version of their latest browser, the Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) available to general public. It’s a free download for any Windows 7, Windows Vista and Server 2008 R2 users.
The Internet Explorer 9 would only support Windows Vista and 7 platform, including the Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2. It is a big disappointment for Windows XP users to have no support for the said OS. A large number of NetBook users (the 7inch and 10inch small laptops running Intel Atom platform) are still buying Windows XP as factory loaded option.
You may download the software (IE9 RTM) from Microsoft website via the following direct download links,
Call me old fashion but after spending few weeks with android devices like Sony Xperia x10 and Sony xperia x10 mini pro, one thing I get to know is about the possibility of screw up like forgetting the Google account password or your lock code or simply mess up the settings !!!
With older Symbian OS based phones being mainstream, its easy to find both online and off line help to hard reset the device to its original factory delivered state. However with android devices like Sony Xperia x10 / x10 mini pro, hard resetting is not that simple.
Why would someone need to hard reset / format or flush the firmware of the device phone ?
- Forgot the Password of Google account ?
- Forgot the password / lock code of your phone it self
- Virus infection (yeah, beware of those malware in android market place)
- Messed up settings or need of cleaning junk.
- User switch (you need to sell it off or give to it to friend of family)
Hard reset or format cleans all data and installed apps, wipes out all the password or lock codes and brings the phone to its original factory settings.
How to format / hard reset / flush the ROM of Sony Xperia x10 / x10 mini pro to restore it back to original factory settings of Android OS ?
