Yes, that’s a computer motherboard (Intel 845GVSR)
with a processor (Socket 478 Intel P-IV 1.8 GHz) attached to it.
It is expected that one may assume this is an abundant computer at some abundant warehouse or such, but matter of fact is, this is a PC which runs in an AC room.
The PC all of a sudden started to power-down it self in middle of work and trouble shooting immediately lead us to the fact of overheating. While all fans running at full capacity, the only culprit left was dust and as we removed the processor fan and heat-sink, this was what we saw in side !!

Hi Sathya,
Believe it or not, the person who wrote the above comment is some one, whom I consider my GURU in terms of hardware technology.
So gave Mr. Halder a call about this issue and went by his suggestion, but didnt apply the water
used soft brush and a soft cotton only
Thanks.

Option 1.: – Just clear the heatsink and check if the attached fan is working well. If so, then just clear the heatsink jel from the processor and from the heatsink, reapply some, and attach the heatsink carefully. It will work again. Dont try to clear the dust with brush or blower. It may create other problems.
Option 2.: – It is not a joke. If you still want to clear the M/B from dust, open it from the cabinet, use plain water and very soft brush to wash the dust away. You can use distilled water, not mineral water, and obviously no soap or detergent. Dry the m/b completely. If necessary use a 100 watt bulb from a distance of 1 and half feet. But dont use the heat for more than 15 mins at a stretch. If you need use it 3 times at max with a break of 30 mins in between.
