thanks for the response. can you also elaborate whether the warranty and the bill given is for and by fuji india, and was the product brand new and sealed, as here in delhi no body was able to offer this at such price

Very strange you didnt include the Fujifilm Finepix S5800/S800 in that list…I think for a techie like you you should rise beyond the reservations of the brand fascination which is a rather weird characteristics the general Indian customer. I have recently bought the Finepix S5800 after thorough research and found it marginally better than the Canon Powershot SX100 and even the Panasonic Lumix TZ 3/4 in terms of features offered, looks, handling and as a whole complete package. Further, it’s a clear winner when you compare the prices among these cameras as the Fujifilm S5800/S800 is a compact lens prosumer camera which comes fully feature loaded with decent picture quality for as low as Rs.7800/- (US$ 181) with bill & warranty.
