Damm the Devil, Damm the Yahoo..
A .com domain for USD 35 ??
I can’t believe my eyes as what I am reading. In a time where Microsoft Live Office Apps are offering free domain to US business users, there, Yahoo small busiess service is charging USD 35 (34.95) for a single .com domain renewal.
ChotoCheeta.com is registered with Yahoo back in 2006, and I have opted for the yahoo option which allows yahoo to autometically bill me every year and today I see in my Credit Card bill, USD 35 (34.95) is been charged by Yahoo Inc for renewal of ChotoCheeta.com for one year..
Damm the Yahoo..

I just transferred all our domains registered at Yahoo (do u?) to http://domains.assamcompany.com at $7.99 per domain (includes free transfer with one year extn.) per domain. Hurray! and thumbs down to yahoo.
I think yahoo is planning to rob all unsuspecting customers (who never bother to check CC expenses) by charging 4/5 times higher renewals cost for domains. They are sure to boose their income in the domain division alone by 3/4 fold this year!!!..
Also, as per my challenge to Yahoo, they have refunded renewal charges of 2 domains @$34.95 per domains, without any question!
So better people email them as for refunds and show how other people are charging for renewals http://domains.assamcompany.com

OMG! Just visited yahoo small business homepage. Now they say:
“$1.99/1st year for Yahoo! Domains ($34.95 / year after)”
When I registered, they said they will charge $9.95/year. This is outrageous! I’m going to transfer to godaddy right now. Thanks for the info. You saved my money!
