Hi Cheeto ,
Dataone 2 mbps is perhaps the worst of all the broadband connection or internet, Speeds go as low as 3.1kbps and they seem to have started throttling during Night unlimited and also their scheme change is cumbersome , So many times you feel you are having the same sancharnet connection delivered in the name of BROADBAND. I'am fed up and now applied for unlimited 256 which looks like their only reasonable even though costly plan

Don't rely upon TATA INDICOM plug2whiz USB Modem.By taking the connection I suffered a lot.Not only i didn't get the speed they offered ,I have to wait for more than 5 minutes to get the next page.Their customer care was very poor. The guy who came to my house for the connection was not attending my calls after that.i really fed up with that connection. No Tata Indicom officers were ready to help me.So dont take tata indicom. It is better not to have than TATA TNDICOM.
Now I am somewhat satisfied with Reliance Netconnect. It is not faster. But can afford.

hello Akshay said
the ISP mentining the broadband spead is in bits
when we talk abt download its come to bytes
so we need to divide 256 /8 = 32kilo bytes
thats why our download speed is limited to 32 (kilo bytes per sec) kbyte
for 256 kbps (kilo bits Per second)
hope u understand
thanks
