A mutual pal said I really should appear have a look at your internet site. Glad I clicked around the hyperlink! I like how you genuinely focus and get on the bottom line but can you run by means of that final component again? Just a little?

Should also update the SUPPORT TOOLS, VALUEADD, and DOTNETFX content while your at it. All these can be obtained from the SP3 CD ISO file.

Also should...
- delete the previous SPn.CAB and SPn.CAT, and SVCPACK.INF files from I386 folder.
- delete SVCPACK and HOTFIXES folders from I386 folder if they exist and you are not going to use them to apply hot fixes.
- delete WIN51IC.SPn from the base folder.

Where n is the previous SP number.

Here are the instructions I created years ago when doing my SP2 SlipStream Integration. Should work for SP3 too. Very detailed with lots of screen shots but does need to be updated to include the VALUEADD and DOTNETFX.

I hope someone is still viewing this topic.

I have intergrated sp3 to my xp pro w/sp2 disk using Nlite without any issues at the time but now when I boot off the cd-r windows setup is asking me for "Windows XP Pro SP3 CD in Drive A:"

Please let me know what is going on. My main goal to this was to add sata drivers to the install so I can reinstall XP on my laptop. I figured I hit two birds with one stone and add SP3 to it too but got stopped by this issue. Tonight after work I am going to redo the whole thing and omit the sp3 to get my laptop running again. But I would like to know what went wrong..... I MUST KNOW!!!! Lol Any info would be great
