Hosting with eWebGuru !!

Last 6 month or so were really good for this web site. The ChotoCheeta.com grew in good pace. One of this back end thing which allowed ChotoCheeta.com to grow in such speed is the hosting it self.

I am hosted with eWebGuru.com and hosted for last 6 month or so. Its a shared hosting, which means there would be many web site under same Server / VPS / IP residing side by side.

ChotoCheeta.com is hosted with basic plan of eWebguru.com which provides 20 GB bandwidth a month and it is eating around 70% to 82% of a the bandwidth a month, at-least I can judge that I am allowed to utilize the promised bandwidth.

Few things which I like about eWebguru.com which anchors me with this hosting are,

  • I am allowed to use full quota of my hosting plan !!
  • Good support – response time.
  • Really attractive pricing.

However there are few things which I don’t like about eWebGuru.com as with ChotoCheeta.com my visitors reports to face Error 500 (Internal server error) often and I have had down times.

Even though there are few down side of this hosting but still it is good enough for my site thus allowing me to not to worry about the hosting in near future at-least !!

For a web site like mine, eWebGuru.com definitely bags enough juice.

Hi Saurav,
Thanks for review, regarding internal server error, it is generally caused by wrong file permission or some bad code in .htaccess, have you checked your error log in cpanel, which tell the exact cause of internal server error, and you can rectify it from your end easily.

Regarding downtime, I think inspite of some downtime, we are consistently giving 99.9% uptime as promised.

Looking to keep you as our customer for long time to come.

i host my blog with them for 1 day (as of now). but the server is very very slow and i couldnot access my wordpres admin page at all :) .

Hi Thina,

Your domains name server shows that you are hosted some where else.

The NS entry of your domain do not take you to eWebGuru service by the way !!!

Have you shifted ? or is that an error ?

Hello Sivakumar,
Can you provealways site down, we have 99.9% uptime can be proved from 3rd party stats.

We have a hardware failure, due to which some downtime, dont expect you will get any host where there is no harware failure.

Regarding ticket support, if you expecting answer within 5 to 10 min after submitting ticket then probably you need to look someone else.

All tickets are answered in timely manner according to queue, we have dedicated engineers answering tickets.

hey ewebguru hosting is aa fast servers hosting but some times it get down this is the main problem in webhosting hope in future this host will get better servers and their staff is not good i have called their staff member and they on the fone but they is saying this fone is switched off the staff members are layars so please be carefull all staff members

ewebguru.com is very worst service provider I am his existing customer.
His mail service is very poor then villager’s mail service is fast then ewebguru
I advice to all don’t use his service you can lost money your time lost your work

A big No To EWEBGURU

My site is hosted by Ewebguru, This is the worst hosting service provider I ever came in touch with. For all new members I will suggest not to go for this company. for last 3 months I’m not able to access my site through FTP/File management in Plesk, but they didn’t reply to my support tickets. I even sent them mails what might be the problem with their servers but didn’t get any reply.
I cant’ even change my hosting company as I haven’t taken a backup of all my files on my PC.

There was absolutely no problem in FTP/File management, we have created FTP account from our end and given to you in reply of your ticket. FTP is basic thing required for hosting, if customer does not know how to create FTP account inspite of telling the methods, it is not possible for us to do spoon feeding.

I dont know if this site is hosted on ewebguru. My sites hosted on ewebguru which are not running for last 12 hours. I dont know if my account is suspended. At least they should have warned once of any terms violation.
Within 2 months i lost 4500 INR. This is worst experience I had in my life.

I lost 2 domains registered with them & gold plan.

Does anyone knows if i can get my account back ?

Ewebguru is worst service provider..

You say I dont’ know creating FTP accounts but for your kind information I have 8/10 running websites on different servers. The issue with your technical support is.. They are not even capable of understanding the issues, let alone working on that.

I’m still not able to access the File-Management through plesk…. Every second day it shows database crashed and you need to repair xyz tables.. I’m running standard forum and blog scripts which never showed any issues with other servers.
So I can only suggest new members to keep themselves away from ewebguru.

I do not know, instead of solving issue with provider, why some people like to rush to different blog/forum and write worst provider and blah, blah.

Just 3-4 customers who keep jumping to different hosting companies and keep writing negative reviews because they have nothing better to do.

Hi All. I’ve used Ewebguru and found the worest service from them. They just banned me telling that my site use more CPU and MYSQL usage. All of my works have fallen and they don’t put the money back to me :-( (

I am sure you are from cyberx hosting company, just promoting yourself, you were never our customer and we resolve all issues with customer and do not just suspend account.

You are free to promote yourself, but dont tell lie about hosting company which you never used.

This is my experience with eWebGuru that eWebGuru is providing a very good support to clients. I have seen that many client don’t know the basics of web hosting. There domains are pointing to some other servers(due to different nameserver) when eWebguru provide the FTP details or cpanel details then they use there domain to connect through FTP or cpanel, finally when they are unable to connect through FTP or cpanel then they ask support the cause behing this. when support tell about nameserver and tell to use IP address instead of domain name,they comment “Before hosting to eWebGuru the same FTP was working fine” and start writing against eWebGuru. I don’t know what the client exactly want. I can understand this in the issue with most of the hosting company, I think this is due to the proud and attitude of client , he think if he has paid for a service, everything should be done automatically after payment. But actually it is not possible because if we haven’t control on domain which is registered by other company. We can’t change nameserver from this side. but who will make understand to client who don’t want to understand these basic things.. and really there attitude in phone is amazing…. I don’t know who hell will provide hosting to such clients.

Worst hosting i ve seen ever. for past 4 days site was down. called them. they are not answering and cutting the call. Also this happens every 15 days. My advice would be please dont go for it.

Are you real customer of us or another fake one without mentioning site name writing negative review.

There is no case in our side where site remain down for 4 days, we have 5 tel. no. mentioned in our site, live chat, support ticket etc, I dont remember I am aware of any such case.

Lately I am seeing many fake negative reviews of us, I do admit there are some real, which are accompanied with fact, but many are negative without any site name without much information.

Hosting has become competitive industry and competitors are doing everything to get more business by writing negative reviews of other hosting sites.

Hello, we are hosted with eWEBguru more than 1 month ago (khola-janala.com). It’s a nice hosting company with good support response. But previously some people just reply bias about eWEBguru about Khola-Janala (.com) that they just suspend us but we have no inter relation with cyber host. It just a false information nothing else.

Dear OM This is Himanshu Kumar Pant Please read the following:
” If you then you lost your data” Read this at least 1000 times then you will understand what you wrote.

Please note if you are hosting your site to some server then you should have backup of your data too. All hosting company recommend to save a copy of data at client end. I am surprise that why a client think if he will pay some amount for a hosting account then he became the owner of the company and the tech support is dedicated to his tickets only. We always reply/resolve any issue within 24 hour if it is genuine, i.e if there is a issue from hosting side, it resolved with in few hours. We have more than 20 ,000 client/Reseller around the world, we got more testimonial than complaints. This is my advise to you that always keep a copy of your data with you if you are hosting your site to any server even it is your own sever.

yes eWebguru is crap service. They dont even have contact detail for their support team. They transferred my domain to another server and I my site is broken. They dont have enough skill sets.. I dont think they have staff either..

Dear Avdhut!

Nice to see you here in comment. I hope you remember that I lost about 3 hour in outgoing phone and 1.5 hours incoming phone with you. install magento at least 10 times in 5 hours which was uploaded by you. restore your backup at least 8 times on your request. Still you will say these words about eWebGuru? I will not recommend you as a client for any hosting company. I recommend you to learn magento first and also learn basics of hosting, like ftp, index.php “what is and where to put”, what is password and also public_html etc. Writing comments about eWebGuru is so simple as it didn’t take time. but uploading magento into your account was tough for you. even installing magento was impossible for you. Client’s like you want spoon feeding. I will request you not to take any hosting account from any company, because you will write same comment about that company too. No company provide 3 hours of outgoing support to one client on his silly issue. I am sure you don’t know anything about magento and you just hear about it from internet and now you are thinking that after taking cheapest plan from a hosting company one of the support engineer or owner of company will trained you in magento or any other software as per your requirement.
Remember web hosting companies are not coaching center, We can provide you support if you have little bit knowledge about what you want.

Read all previous comments, these are of your brothers who also don’t know about web hosting or websites.
