Many times I see a common question posted under any user groups that, how do one check his/her RAM to see if its OK or not…
Many times computer perform on a way which may point towards the RAM to be the faulty unit, but how do one check his RAM to test and see if it is one faulty device ??
Well Microsoft just came up with one such tool which can under Windows Vista to test RAM (Random Access Memory) of your PC or Notebook…
Microsoft Windows Memory Diagnostic (BETA)
The tool is under beta stage, how ever public beta, so one can download it from, Windows Memory Diagnostic download.
The Interface
When you launch it, it would give you option for iether to create a boot able CD or floppy from which you are in need boot to test your RAM…

Once you boot from the CD / Floppy, it directly starts the RAM test or Memory diagnostic to find if any problem is present with your RAM…
