Recently I have shifted the hosting for ChotoCheeta.com
As for few fact, ChotoCheeta.com is running WordPress bloging software version 2.3.1. Both the new and older host run Linux hosting with CPanel 11 and offer phpMyAdmin for MySQL database management…

Often we are buying hosting from many known and un-known web hosting companies. How do we get an idea how good would the new service be ??
To be honest there are no absolute method to know for sure unless some one inside gives you the right news. How ever you can get an idea on your neighbours.
My IP Neighbors -> http://www.myipneighbors.com one such service, which can give you an idea that how many sites are running on the same IP address.
Upgrade to WordPress 2.3 platform (version 2.3.1)

Thanks to my good friend Navjot, I am finally able to upgrade the WordPress installation of ChotoCheeta.com from 2.2 platform to the latest WordPress 2.3 platform, to be exact, the version is WP 2.3.1.
Installation was not a problem, it was just the plugins which gave a little headache, all plugins were needed to be updated to made the installation completely compatible to WP 2.3.1…
Once again I thank Navjot for his time and help on the process…
Virus Found – Possible Threat “Trojan downloader”

Well again I come across to a threat which is detected by few AVS, this time including Kaspersky Scanner as “Trojan.Win32.Qhost.ot“, however other front line paid scanners, such as, Norton, NOD32 (ESET) and one of the trusted Free scanner Avast fails to detect the threat….

ChotoCheeta.com Report Card – October, 2007

Please take a loot at ChotoCheeta.com report card (AWStats) for month of October, 2007.

Last month I had near about 9k unique visitors !!!
Poeple would wonder why the bandwidth is so low, this because if you checkout the picture properties, you may see all pictures are not hosted with ChotoCheeta.com or rather I have use one of my other site… ChotoCheeta.com is hosted where I get only 1 GB of Bandwidth which certainly is not enough to host the images !!
Turn off Adobe auto update

Many times I see users asking that, under Windows how can the Adobe update checker be turned off ??
It is though recomended that you should always keep the product uptodate however many users would like to turn off the auto update because of certain issues…
SO,
How can you turn off the Adobe auto updater ??
Launch the adobe software, (In my case the Adobe Reader)… now in the menu bar Click Help, and then Check for update…
