Save your Word Documents from sudden power outage

Though we have heavy duty UPS and with Notebooks we have better battery backup but some time while you are working on a important word document, you dont want it to be lost at any cost…

Some time because of many reason your windows may stop responding and if that happens between a typing process which you were doing under Microsoft Office Word, you may lose the un-saved data…

Microsoft Office Word by default is set to auto-save the data in every 10mins… Which you can change to 1 or 2 mins for Maximum protection…

How to Change the Auto-Save interval ??

In the Office Word Menu bar, please Click Tools, then go to options

Now at the Options window, please navigate your self to SAVE, tab…

Now here you can view and change the AutoRecover Infoto you 2 mins or minimum of 1 min..

The Process is almost same for Word 2007, its just interface is different…

All one would need to to do is, navigate to Word Options,

now under save TAB (please click the right Navigation pane), you may find the option to change the option to change the auto save timing for Word 2007…
