think.. core 2 duo or dual core.. are 2 cores.. and quad is how many cores? : ) it’s not the same.. one runs on 2 cores and one on 4

That a Core 2 Duo has 2 Cores
A Core 2 Quad has 4 Cores

I cannot believe how dumb you all are.

Time to start talking about Core 2 Duo P series, Core i3, i5, i7, Athlon, Athlon II, Phenom and Phenom II cores.

There is no big difference between core 2 duo or dual core.both have 2 cores,both are good at overclocking.Intel has stopped making core 2 duo new models,however pentium dual cores are now being made by them.

dual core =2 time fast
core 2dou=4 time fast.
