Quick things to note are the draw backs,
Very High system requirementof the application, as it needs full one GB of RAM to run… Compare that with Open Office which would run fine under 128 MB of RAM and even Office 2003 too… Its pretty odd to see such high requirement and who would run a free apps is expected to be low on budget and so low system configuration too like for example 3rd world education institutes or even Office computers…
Also the support for OS, No MAC, NO Windows Server or Windows 2000 support…
One can see its not fully compatible with MS office documents…
So when we have OpenOffice.org, why would one want to shift to Lotus Symphony ??

Many times I see users desperate for help as they have lost their Installation Media for Windows of Office…
This is common problem faced by many, as You have installed windows and worked in it for long time but later on you may face issue like HDD crash, or any hardware or software failure which may require re or clean installation of Windows and Office system, and then you find after such long time of no requirement, either you have miss-placed the installation media / CD or you have managed to damaged the CD/DVD…
So what next ?? You are a genuine customer of Microsoft so how do you obtain a Replacement Media ??
There are 2 ways, now if you have a Branded system which came with pre-installed Windows and software then you have to get in touch with vendor (like, HP / Dell / IBM / etc)
