Its a 2 CD OS, you may download 180 days of Trail for x86 and x64, all you have to do is registrar and download your Copy from Microsoft, free of charge, to give the Full version of these OS a trial run.

Installing 2nd IDE drive as Master / Slave Configuration using jumpers

Some time I see people asking for solution how to install 2nd IDE driver under one channel ?? It could be a 2nd Hard Disk or a 2nd Optical drive as Writer of ROM….
Here is a Basic Guide for that…
You need to open up your desktop cabinet, locate your IDE Cable… You IDE cable (Standard one) would look like this,

Many will notice that, when you look in to an Modern OS like Windows XP and later, or any new versions of Linux, you may see there are 2 version on each, as x86 (32 bit) and x64 (64 bit). Many may wounder, what really these 2 are and which one to go for ?
I will try to explain a little, from an END user point a view, that why would one need Windows x64 or what change you may see from Windows x86 to Windows x64 as from an end user.
The 1st x64 end user processor came from AMD on 2003 as in Optron field, quickly followed in desktop range of their Athlon series as the brand name of AMD64. Intel Matched AMD in 2004 by their new Pentium 4 with their version of 64 architecture naming EM64T.

If You are using Windows Vista with Side Bar enabled, this is one of the must have Widgets… It will allow you to view your local weather information right on your Desktop….
The best thing is this one will receive data from 2800 Live feed back station all over all word… So even I am in Kolkata, India, I can find a Weather hot spot from which its taking live feed back is just 6KM way from my home… So data is very very much accurate and also the weather predication shown tooo….
The setup for WeatherBug Widget is very simple, just inputting the asked details about you place, like if you are in US / UK / Canada, just input the zip code else if like me in a country other than those (for me Indian) so, City and Country name, like for me, Calcutta, India, and then just selecting the available nearest weather feed back Center….
Though you will need constant Internet connection to keep the widget running with lastest feeds….
GPhone / The Google Phone to be in India by September 2007 ??

This is one cool Widget of Windows Vista, ads one native option without any other 3rd party application to change your wallpaper automatically in specified time to time basis…
Click to download the Widgets to install that in to your Windows Vista system…. After you install it should appear under Windows Vista side bar…
Now click on the Config button to launch the Configuration utility… There you can specify the time interval under which you want your Desktop wall paper to get changed, and most important you can specify your wallpaper folder too…

Windows Vista comes with some hidden goodies, one of them is one Hidden Boot Screen. Lets try and enable that one,
How to Enable the Hidden boot Screen under Windows Vista ???
Type “msconfig” in the search box of Start Menu. When the configuration window opens navigate to the “Boot” tab, and then enable option, “No GUI boot” under it…
and now when next time you reboot you should see this bellow as your Boot Screen….
Now problem though at every start you may receive warning message that, “System configuration is currently in Diagnostic or Selective Startup mode. To start Windows normally and undo the changes you made, select Normal Startup mode on the General tab and restart your computer“…..

When you save a document under Microsoft Office by default MS Office 2007 applications uses a new file format to save the file, for example
Microsoft Word 2007 will use new file format .docx
Microsoft Excel 2007 will use new file format .xlsx
Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 will use new File format .pptx
Open MS Office 2007 Documents in Older Version of MS Office

Microsoft office compatibility Pack is one of the Must install if you are running Microsoft Office Pririor to MS Office 2007.
The Office 2007 application such as Word, Excle, PowerPoint, will no more than use the Older File Extention like .doc for Word, in fact the new Word 2007 uses .docx as its Default format…
So even if you dont have any thing to do with MS Office 2007 but your clients of contacts may use the new office now when they save a file ex. in Word 2007, they will find file saved as Default format .docx, so when you receive such file this free update will allow your older Office setup, like Office 2000, Office XP and 2003 to access those files and open them for you…

My friends called up today for the movie, Rs. 60/- for the movie and 0/- on the food …lol…
So What I Felt ??
Its certainly worth the money to watch the action…
The story is certain one which is a big let down…
but for guys like us, who are really busy with either study or work presure, its a break one should take….
