DataOne, the Boardband service of India,

Yes, thats what we know it all about. Those who are in metro or cities like Hyd, Bngalore, Gorgaon, they have options of Tata, or Reliance or Bharti group/AirTel or many small players, but its BSNL who truly has penetrated the Ruler India.

ADSL, is what, that brought success to BSNL.

one may say that Private oparators will look for their profit first. Yes but again, if you see talent of India, max came put from ruler India. We see at just the few percent of people in Cities, mostly at Ruler India with better brain that us or rather me.

BSNL took the big step and took the Internet/Broadband to them. Their startup plans are just from Rs. 250 less than USD 5 in which they offer, ADSL with speed upto 2mbps up and 512kbps down. Not bad when they are sticking to their promise.

So can we call BSNL DataOne a blessing ?? Here comes the point of Cons, a big list, but nothing would come up at front than their Poor customer service.

Long story of Getting it

Get a broadband, apply and get it, is what BSNL advertise, I have seen than their core works great, its the outer layer which creats the problem, like wise, getting a submitting an application form. When I applied, I knew about the problems and I had the tech knowledge and speaking power to contact those who are concern about it, for example, my local exchange front desk customer care refused to accept my application form asking me to contact and submit it at the Area Office thats some 15 kms fropm my local exchane. Where as I knew their rule, about whom to contact (Thats DE local exchange) and his contact no, to short the issue out, where as if you think for common people many mnay wont have the knowledge !!

Same as in processing the form, their core works fine applications are processed within days and work order are issued to connect your connection, here again the outer layer messes up, doesnt connect unless you bribe them, some time Rs. 50 some time they ask Rs. 200, unless and other wise they dont carry out the work.

Service or the DataOne

You got the connection. So is it good bad, well thing is this way, if it runs, it will run extremly well, but if it doesnt it wont, as I have pointed out their costomer service, after a problem comes up some time its hard to solve the issue as because of the Outer Layer, those who are suppose to trouble shoot are not educated enough in computer Technology

Conclusion

So what am I suppose to call it ?? a Curse ? a blessing ? No doubt in my mind that it is a blessing for common India, but certainly a curse for business comunities.
